FAQs

Q Are you saying we should celebrate just Twixtmas instead of Christmas and New Year?

A. Not at all. In fact, the opposite. By using Twixtmas to its full potential you can recharge your batteries after the Christmas festivities and put you in top form for the New Year's activities.

Q. Who is behind Twixtmas?

A. The Twixtmas campaign is an idea from the Flexible Thinking Forum, a new not-for-profit social enterprise with a mission to get people thinking differently.

Q. Why are you launching Twixtmas?

A. The Twixtmas campaign is a perfect example of what the Forum is seeking to achieve - getting people to take advantage of an opportunity and in turn make the world a better place in some way.

Q. Is Twixtmas a commercial operation? Is anyone making money out of this Twixtmas campaign?

A. No, quite the opposite. Campaign materials have been produced by GREEN communications, in support of the Forum's aims, and also because they thought it would be a good thing, the right thing to do. Any funds raised are being encouraged to go to the supporting charities.

Q Why should I bother doing anything at Twixtmas?

A. The credit crunch is actually catching up with our other poverty in Western societies - being time poor

Q. Do I just have to do five things?

A. You can do as little or as much as you like?

Q. Is Twixtmas a religious celebration?

A. No. Although on the fifth day of Twixtmas we do encourage to people to think of the spiritual dimension in their lives in the year ahead, we are not making any claims for any particular religious faith.
